Merty Stuart-Smith

I am a Level 3 Art and Design Student from Worcester with a passion for all sorts of artistic avenues and styles. I have had a passion for art since a young age that has grown and flourished and encouraged me to experiment and learn a wide variety of artistic disciplines that focus around fine art, graphic design and more. 

I have always loved painting and drawing but that love has spread to include print making, collage, wood and metal work and designing. 

From a professional perspective, I have been commissioned to design and produce signs for business and weddings which highlights my knowledge and understanding of graphic design in a professional and business perspective. These projects were produced using a range of techniques including designing using digital software and using a vinyl plotter to signwriting by hand. 

As a creative individual, I really do surround myself with the arts as most of my hobbies focus around my passion for art, some of these hobbies include: crochet, embroidery, sewing and even some woodwork. 

My aim for the future is to further build on and develop my existing skills and maybe pick up some new ones on the way, I would love to take my course of education and focus it to find an avenue I'm skilled at and passionate about to develop my future career to best show my work to the world.
