My design behaviour has been influenced through the life experiences of my upbringing. Being surrounded by a community of hands-on individuals that met every dilemma with physical solutions; sheds storing tools, spare parts and scrap materials that ‘might come in handy later’. These resilient and resourceful techniques that I have inherited, serve great impact not only in my appreciation for materials and processes, but also provide a great desire to solve problems within concept developments.

When establishing the direction of a project, my initial considerations begin with three main themes; taking inspiration from everyday observations and interactions, both a focus on and a keen interest for material exploration and, ensuring the outcome benefits the life of the end user.
