JULIA ASSIS FALCAO

I'm a young Brazilian creative based in London. My work translates my curiosity regarding volumes, shapes, the way spaces are filled or void and its surfaces, the textures and infinite possibilities that come from making something from scratch. Another facet of my practice comes from the outrage I feel towards the First world neglect of other realities outside the European point of view. In my work I fuse those two subjects into fashion pieces with a goal of broadcasting both my aesthetics and the discussions I consider important. I do that by incorporating those matters in different mediums such as knitwear, jewellery and graphic design to reflect my ideas.
