KIEREN SWINDEN

I am a graduate student from Kingston School of Art where I studied Product and Furniture Design. This course has taught me the fundamentals of design and what is expected of you as a designer. This enabled me to learn new skills in a variety of different mediums and allow my creative and hardworking side to show and strive for perfection in every project.

I love designing through making, this gives me the option to experiment with materials and gain valuable knowledge and mould my designs with the information that I've obtained to create a clear connection between object and process.

During university, myself and Carlos Catalan Garrigues won the “J+J Generation” 2019 competition which meant our design, “Friston” was produced and launched at 100% Design in September 2019 with the rest of the Joined and Jointed 2019 collection.
