LEESEUL OH

I am a 2D-animator and illustrator based in South Korea. My interest is visualising of people’s emotions and memories within my studio practice. I often capture nostalgic moments through the image-making process. In my practice, I explore a variety of techniques, from hand-drawn images to digital painting and crafting. I am interested in creating story worlds in an ambiguous way, such as through applying a metaphor to the narrative. By creating narratives that can lead to different interpretations, I aim to evoke questions from the audience. My projects represent my view of the world through visual communication.

I usually work on frame-by-frame animation using Dragon frame. I had developed an experience on (oil-paint on glass) stop-motion through my graduate film from Kingston University.
