PREKSHA MUNDHRA

Hi, I am Preksha Mundhra. I have recently completed my four-year course from the Indian Institute of Art and Design, Delhi affiliated to Kingston University in Communication Design. As a communication designer, I have exposure in various fields such as graphic design, filmmaking, animation, advertising, typography to name a few. However, my field of interest falls in fact-finding and analysis.
To me, the design is about the realization of emotion. It is about creating experiences through empathy and sparking a feeling of significance through these experiences. After all, it is only when we feel significant and purposeful living feels worthwhile. My journey as a communication designer incited me into an urge to understand people, to why they are the way they are, why do they do what they are doing, and why do they feel what they are feeling. Somewhere the dots connected when it came to me that design is not about the product, but about how you aspire to others to feel. This is where my pursuit of design research and a multidisciplinary approach commenced. I am seeking to engage my position in the areas involving the amalgamation of design, emotion, and behavior.
