Niamh Johnston

I have knowledge and first hand experience in many aspects of the fashion industry as well as in the graphic design sector through university, college, and as a personal interest. I have obtained high skills in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and I understand the importance of excellent customer service, garment care, team work and multi-tasking within a fast paced environment due to working in retail.

The creative elements of my work are a combination of digital and physical products. My artistic abilities have been developed from college through to the end of my degree by utilising different design methods through specialist software programmes combined with extensive research, technical drawings, and garment construction. Inspiration for my work stems from current trends, market awareness, and various medium techniques.
