Ryan Sanderson

My work in the field of Graphic Design follows a brief and an objective, it is designed to attract or educate a specific audience; to send a message to the observer, whether it is to encourage discussion or to communicate ideas. The focus for my Final Major Project is on the contemporary and pressing subject of mental health stigma. It is designed to create positive impact, which I do through clarifying the messages around mental illness. My working method is to visualised on paper before being adapted to a digital medium; applying the visual of the sketch to the appropriate software, to create aesthetically appealing visuals that represent the concept of the design.
