Alex Walton

I have been interested in the arts from an early age, my passion primarily is in acting and scriptwriting. As a Screen Performance student at Sunderland University, I have had experience in researching various acting practitioners' methods such as; Stanislavski, Meisner, and Chekhov and applying them to the various on-screen performances in which I have been assessed; such as creating a character backstory and incorporating a specific activity into my performance, in order to immerse myself into the present moment and bring life to my character. I have also gained experience and knowledge in scriptwriting, I have a good understanding of the three-act structure of a film, episode, or play and frequently read online film scripts to hone my knowledge further. My ambitions upon leaving university are to start my own production company along with colleagues from Film Production. Together we will produce our own short films, as well freelance for various up-and-coming filmmakers across the North East. My specific roles will involve Acting, Assistant Directing, and occasionally Screenwriting.
