Amelia Ashman

My name is Amelia Ashman and I am an aspiring musical theatre performer. I discovered my passion for musical theatre at a very young age. I eagerly took part in numerous amateur productions, including Ghost, Hairspray, Legally Blonde Jr and Snow White. I also chose to pursue formal qualifications. At 16, I took my first job with the company Let's Party, an events entertainment company where I recently took the role of event manager. In this role, I have performed as various Disney characters, performing at events of all sizes. My confidence in this role was bolstered by my longstanding relationship with TTM Modelling Agency, which began when I was seven years old. Over five years, I had the opportunity to participate in the Lookers campaign, featuring in three commercials. Through the agency, I further honed my skills by collaborating with various photographers across diverse styles, including fashion, dance, and editorial shoots.

At 16, I earned the role of Elle Woods in MTS's production of Legally Blonde.This opportunity to collaborate with West End professionals was incredibly exciting, as they brought their expertise to the production, creating a truly professional experience. Portraying such a vocally demanding character motivated me to seek guidance from three vocal coaches to enhance my performance. During Legally Blonde, I decided to transfer to MTS for my full-time studies. Through this experience, I gained a range of skills, while working intensively with a 32-hour weekly contact schedule. This rigorous training taught me discipline and instilled a strong sense of confidence.
