Angela Reed

I create bespoke calligraphy pieces for a wide range of clients and introduce people to 'the art of beautiful writing' through weekly classes, short courses and one-off workshops in the north east of England.

I was first introduced to calligraphy by my art teacher at secondary school and am passionate about sharing my love of this heritage craft with others. I'm particularly interested in the health and wellbeing benefits of calligraphy and have worked with several third-sector organisations to explore this further.

Creative Calligraphy was established in 2014 and has grown through collaboration with other artists, small businesses, charities and arts organisations, which is why I've joined this platform. I'm always happy to connect and discuss ideas!
