Ayisha Beevi

Hello! I'm originally from Qatar in the Middle East, but I've recently graduated with a degree in Psychology from Leeds Beckett University.My background might seem a little unconventional for events! From the age of 12, I actually worked in my family business, starting with tasks like cash handling and growing all the way up to managing a whole branch. This experience gave me a strong foundation in business operations, but most importantly, it honed my communication, leadership, and target-achievement skills.

I learned how to motivate and collaborate with a team to achieve common goals – essential skills for any event!My passion for events actually began quite recently. Last year, I teamed up with a friend to launch his event start-up. We started with zero clients, and for our first event, we managed to bring in an impressive 750 attendees! Since then, we've successfully hosted 10 events, and I've also been involved in the Leeds Holi Festival, which attracted a massive crowd of 2,500 people.

These experiences have given me a taste of the fast-paced and rewarding world of event marketing and management, and I'm eager to learn more and keep growing in this exciting field.
