Brandon Stewart

I am a Sunderland based freelance musician, working mainly in tutoring and performing, I'm not limited to these forms of work, I also do studio/compositional work making scores and songs for films and documentaries too.

I've performed in pubs and clubs in many places across the UK in various different bands on differing instruments and roles, from just playing guitar to Keyboards/Bass Backing vocals and Monitor mixing in one band.

When teaching, I tutor many different students across many different skills and age ranges. I primarily tutor Drums, Keyboards, Guitar and Bass, my main focus one teaching is giving the student the basic knowledge to play and be able to learn independently, and once those skills have developed I teach them harder techniques and concepts in a musical application. For instance if the student is learning a new scale we'll spend some time learning it and then I'll get them to start playing it in a musical context so they can add it to their catalogue of skills.
