Claudia Sousa

Cláudia is a Portuguese actress and filmmaker based in the North-East of England, who started performing for fun at the age of 6 as part of school projects.  

After achieving her school diploma, she studied Translation for a year at one of the most prestigious universities in Portugal. She then moved to England and graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Sunderland in 2023. In 2024, she began a master’s degree in Film Production (TV and Film), graduating with Distinction in 2025.

Throughout her academic journey, Cláudia has participated in numerous student films such as You’re Thinking Too Much (2021) which was nominated for the Royal Television Society and was a semi-finalist in the London Film & Television Festival.

In 2024, Cláudia produced a documentary called "Hair" which examines the powerful role that hair plays in our lives and society. It explores how modern beauty standards impact those experiencing hair loss due to conditions like alopecia or cancer treatments. This project reflects her ambition to become a successful producer and make her mark in the industry.

Cláudia has gained multiple skills in a variety of areas within the Film Industry. Her career goals are to make her acting debut in a feature film and to venture into production.
