Corey Robert Burnett

My name is Corey Burnett I'm a young actor who is currently studying BTEC LEVEL 3 YEAR 1 at Sunderland college.

I love performing for an audience I find it fun and thrilling I also like performing for film and tv as I aspire to be better and grow as an actor/performer, I also enjoy music and singing, a hobby of mine includes writing and producing music trying my best to get better.

challenging, developing and refining my skills and new skills is something i enjoy i find the challenge in adaptability and creativity to be fun and to display my passions is something i strive to continue engaging.

I gained this inspiration from an amazing actor called Andrew Garfield who has been in many films/tv and performances, He's very talented and is someone i aspire to be like in the future, which means my goals and ambitions are set quite high. 

 I joined performing arts because I aspired to be an actor, although dancing or movement was a part of the cause I wasn't too excited or encouraged to go through that aspect, although I'm not particularly good at dancing, I did after some time find myself enjoying this aspect of my course, not only this but I have massively increased my range of skills to ensure in the future if dancing is needed within my career for any reason I will be able to achieve it, and sure what I am capable of branching my network even further.  

I always looked up to Andrew Garfield as a role model within the acting industry, this is because he is so many kinds of Roles that he can take on and make his own character even though these characters were created by other people, his ability to turn a fictional character or a true character from actual events and make them more realistic and show us their story is incredible to me and I pursue a career in which I can bring these characters to life and show emotion which grabs and audience into understanding what it is like to live in their world.  

I am currently on level three year two of Performing Arts, after this I hope to reach HNC where I will be able to network more with other and bigger companies as those connections could potentially carry me into the future, it's not my intention to use these companies as a backbone as I would like to make my own wear as an actor pursuing my dreams in my own way and as best as I can have these connections is very helpful and working with different companies is something I do enjoy all the way it is scary and nerve-racking at first, I do enjoy new experiences.  

After HNC I hope to make HND which will push me even further as the opportunities keep on appearing even within level 3 I've had so many opportunities to work with different companies and organisation's and it has provided a much broader viewpoint, and now I look forward to working with these companies again knowing that I will within my next levels of the course I'm currently on, and within HND I will be able to and hopefully fully perfect my acting capabilities before I leave and I am left to figure everything else out on my own, I know I will be able to perfect my acting capabilities and my vocal performance and my dancing because there are much more opportunities presented to me as I progress on too further levels of my education, this I truly look forward to as when I leave, I want to be as prepared as possible, so I do not leave myself with nothing to show for everything I have tried to achieve.
