I am an artist & designer whose practice is socially engaged. Through my work I intend to raise awareness of complex social issues, such as body-image stigma.
Past work looked at the issue of period poverty and I used digital media as well as textiles to explore this. Current work looks to raise awareness of the representation of women in the media, and body image issues women face. I am expressing this through mixed media, initially working with paint and digital design and am now working with subversive textiles and print.
In the future I hope to work on social projects with local communities, using my art to raise awareness and effect change.
