Harry Laville

I'm an amateur creative based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. When I was a lot younger, I spent many nights before bed writing and illustrating different stories inspired by many picture books I was reading at the time.

While I grew out of that, my drive to create never went away, as I dabbled in making YouTube videos during my teenage years but when I started college my interest in media really took off. I pursued Art & Digital Media Courses where I would really get into Photography, Graphic Design and Video Editing, the latter of which I made full use of during the COVID pandemic to create many short films, sometimes stop-motion animation, other times avant-garde non-narrative weirdness. Nowadays, my main creative focus at the moment is computer games, particularly ones with an Arcade design in mind. I always wanted to make my own game but I never thought I'd have the skills/patience to pull off the programming side of things, but a couple years ago, I started learning the ropes of GameMaker and eventually grew confident enough in the software to start making my own games. I publish these titles under my developer name Overtaker Games. Stay tuned for future projects, I've got quite a few ideas in the pipeline!
