IVANA SAVOVA

I am Ivana Savova, a London based animator and illustrator from Bulgaria. As such everything I create is considered in the context of movement, sound, and how it could unfold its message through time.

Because of the tension I strive to evoke in the viewer, the visual language I use is a balancing tool which should satisfy the audience purely on a visual level. I rarely use abstract images. I would like people to ask the question ‘Why?’ rather than ‘What?’. The animation techniques I prefer are more traditional because of the analogue feeling the final outcome has.

I ususally work with frame by frame, stop-motion and 2D digital animation.
