John Fahy

My name is John Fahy, and I am a versatile and passionate performer with an interest in acting and martial arts. I have an educational background in performing arts having a Level 2 and Level 3 diploma in theatre, dance and acting through Sunderland college. Being a student there has given me some experience with leading acting and dance workshops. It has also given me the opportunity of taking part in impromptu events as a scare actor featured in Sunderland Sunniside market for productions related to Stranger Things and IT for Sunderland BID. Hylton Castle was another exhibition in which I took part as a scare actor. This exhibition featured a small segment of media coverage. Lastly, I took part in an exhibition featured in Sheepfolds called the Thread of Life. This exhibition was in response to the riots that happened within Sunderland. 

I've taken part in various amateur productions within Sunderland college. I have taken part in workshops with dance companies such as Southpaw and Happily Ever After. I have a thorough understanding of script analysis and character embodiment through theatre and dance as well as improvisational and presentational skills. I have a varied list of accents that I can perform fluently such as Scottish, Irish, General American and German. I am a resilient and focused performer dedicated to honing my craft and improving it to the best it can be.
