Katie McCririck

I am a student at Sunderland College studying Creative Media. During my time doing this course, I have had the opportunity to create many different kinds of products for my projects, however, the ones of note have been making an advert that was centered around the importance of mental health, a documentary that was focused on the rise of clicktivism in the past few years and a photography project I am currently working on for my final project which will focus on the hidden beauty of Sunderland, a deprived city with a negative reputation.  

During my time at college, I have gained skills based around videography, cinematography, and editing as well as other transferrable skills such as communication skills (learning how to work in a team and remain patient and communicative.) and research skills that will help me when it comes to my degree and future career.  

I am a motivated person and hardworking person who puts everything into whatever she does. I am always seeking to educate myself further as I thrive in an environment where I can learn. I am passionate and driven so I can honestly say when I put my mind to something, I'll get it done.
