"Whoever wants to know something about me... ought to look carefully at my pictures." This is a quote that I use as inspiration by Gustav Klimt. To me, this means that a great Artist sells themselves through their work rather than words. I can relate to this as my aim through Art is to cause discussion and captivate viewers. From an early age, I began to create Art using pencil and paper only but, as I have gained more experience and knowledge through School and College, I realised Art can be made by anything This is how I found my passion for abstract forms and mixed media.
My work has no meaning or hidden message behind it. I make Art because of the freedom of expression it allows me to have. I simply create whatever I want to create without reason because my passion is my inspiration. I find Art to be a calming process and it is something that keeps my mind working and ideas flowing. My work does not have a specific style and I want to inspire others by my work to show them that an Art style is not required and you never have to pressure yourself into a category just because other Artists have a style. Not having a style excites me more because I love to experiment and try a lots f new techniques and methods that help me continuously evolve. This way my work can be as unique as I want it to be and doesn't have to show similarity to other pieces.
