Kenny Everett

"Cuddly Ken" is best known for his career as a radio DJ, he loved music - starting on pirate radio with Radio Luxembourg, his unique talent quickly saw a move to Radio 1 in 1967 as one of its first DJs. He accompanied the Beatles on their 1966 tour of the US and also produced their 1968 and 1969 Christmas records. In 1975 he was the first to play and help break Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Kenny had a talent for creating superbly crafted multi-tracked jingles which became one of his signature elements. He moved to television (The Kenny Everett Video Show and the Kenny Everett Television Show) where his fun loving and anarchic personality saw the development of characters such as Sid Snot, Cupid Stunt and Reg Prescott. He also developed the dimwitted but much loved Captain Kremmen - which took classic 50s Sci-fi to another level.
