Lizzy Matthews

Confident, chatty and enthusiastic are all words I'd use to describe myself. Put me in a group of people and I'd soon be socialising with ease, which definitely comes in handy when I plan to network with others. However, just because I am witty and friendly, does not mean I can't get my head down and be hard working, as I take my film and TV production assignments at college very seriously and make a point of the presentation looking tidy and appealing to the eye. In fact I am very vigilant when it comes to not letting myself get distracted and I always try to complete every task to the best of my ability, yet leaving time to add a pop of colour to make my work more interesting resulting in improved readability. On that note, I am very creative, most of my hobbies include some sort of creative element such as crocheting. I am quite good at this and have made several beanies, jumpers and creatures out of all different colours, textures and types of wool. I'd definitely say it is my main hobby at the moment, besides filming music videos and short films of course. I also enjoy drawing, this skill actually makes my current college studies easier as I can pour my mind onto paper and share what I am imagining through methods such as story boarding or mind-mapping. It really helps everyone involved in my projects to understand exactly how i want the visuals of the video production to go such as the costume designs, set designs and facial expressions in certain scenes.
