Michael Palin is a comedian, actor, writer and television presenter.
In 1965 after attending Oxford university, Palin became a presenter on a programme called NOW! At about the same time he and Terry Jones (with whom he had been at Oxford) began to write comedy for the BBC including The Ken Dodd Show and The Billy Cotton Bandshow.
