Stephen Cole

A photographer for over 35 years I still hold a passion for the possibilities of photography. I learned my craft in an era of analogue photography as much at home in a chemically toxic darkroom as on a remote moor loading film with fingers dumbed by the cold. My career started in the ebb and flow in the interconnected genres of fashion, music and advertising. 18 years as a forensic photographer documenting the very worse of human interaction gave me a new perspective on life and casts a lonf light not shadow on my work today. I like to believe my work finds joy and beauty in the ordinary and mundane.
