Tamira Wood

My name is Tamira Wood and I am an Actor from Scotland. I am a very energetic, colourful and motivated person as I enjoy waking up in the early morning. I have good time management skills as I am always punctual and organise my days. Making sure that any work or tasks that need to be completed are done early is something that I enjoy. Currently, I am studying BA Screen Performance at Sunderland University where I was part of two short films created for Northumbria Police, which I enjoyed. The two films were called Haze, which was to raise awareness of the issue hazing, and also Cupids Night which showed the issue of sexual harassment, both were filmed to educate high school children about these issues. I previously gained my HND at Fife College as well as the HNC and NC where I was able to pay a member of the Ensemble in the Monster in the Hall by David Greig and Krista in Bone Cage by Catherine Banks as well as Marie and a child in our production of Woyzeck by Georg Buchner. One of my hobbies would be dying hair, as I enjoy putting different colours onto my hair and also onto other peoples. I also enjoy doing my make up, as well as this I exercise daily to continue to improve my fitness level.
