Adam Young

My name is Adam Young, and I am an aspiring theatrical actor that aspires to work in theatre and film. My amateur credits include: "Stranger Things" flash mob at the Sunniside food market (October 2023), "IT" flash mob at the Sunniside food market (October 2024), and the "Thread of Life" Exhibition at the Sheepfold Stables (October 2024). I am currently enrolled in Sunderland College on the Performing Arts Practice course, however I was previously enrolled In Sandhill View Academy where I achieved my GCSE’s. I was also nominated for the Sunderland Young Achievers Awards in 2023 for my achievements.

I have a variety of skills including: resilience, quick learning, accent work (Sunderland: native, Cockney and Bristolian), mobility, stamina, characterization, comedy and improvisation. I wish to become a professional actor on stage and screen, inspiring audiences from around the country and around the world, hopefully making them laugh at the same time to a professional standard.
