Alex Townsend

I am a classically trained pianist at a grade 8 level who is currently studying Popular Music Performance at Leeds Arts University. I have worked as a private piano teacher for 5 years now, teaching a range of students from age 5 to 79.

I have experience performing as a piano, vocal duo at many types of events such as: private, charity, corporate and weddings. I also have experience performing as a band member at venues such as: Brudenell Social Club, The Wardrobe, Lending Room, Hyde Park Book Club and Oporto.

My passion for live music and performing is what fuels me in the industry and is the reason I aim to make a living from doing so.
