Andrew Duff
Educated at the University of Greenwich, Andrew achieved a BA (Hons) Degree in Garden Design, a PG Diploma in Adult Education and more recently an MA in Writing. He is a full member of The Society of Garden Designers and The British Association of Landscape Industries. Andrew went on to become Assistant Landscape Architect with The White Dutton Partnership and then joined John Brookes as his Associate Designer. He works in his own practice with commissions ranging from the transformation of a country estate in Devon, through refurbishments to an estate in Connecticut, a property in Grenada and an estancia and polo stud on the outskirts of Buenos Aires and the recent redevelopment of a tea plantation in India. His background as an educator started with The John Brookes Masterclasses, after which he spent five years at Merrist Wood College developing the Garden Design School’s Higher Education programmes. He acts as an external verifier for several garden design schools and lectures on a regular basis at Barzi Casares in Buenos Aires and internationally.
