Annie Edwards

My name is Annie Edwards and I believe that the qualities of a good performer are creative, interpretive, versatile and adaptive. I feel that I embody those qualities as a performer and display them well within my work. I am currently training with MTS College, working towards my BTEC National Level 3 Diploma course, which will give me the accessibility to apply for uni's and further my training at drama school. I have participated in musicals alongside my training with MTS over the past 4 and a half years, such as Grease, Legally Blonde, Addams family and many fundraiser events. I have experience in different dance styles such as: ballet, jazz, commercial, lyrical, contemporary, tap and musical theatre. I strive in the creative industry and love having an input from a directors point of view as well as a performers. My passion for being a creative performer makes me a versatile professional in the performing arts industry and someone who will bring a valuable work ethic when being employed. 

If I was to describe myself in 3 words, I would say that I am driven. I'm driven because I know that in order to receive the opportunities and career i aspire to have, I need to work hard and I am more than willing to do that, which makes me a very driven person. I would also say that I am confident, I always put myself front and centre, even in uncomfortable positions because i'm constantly striving to be the best version of myself. And finally, I would say that i'm an outgoing person. I feel as a person I have that air of confidence, where I can start conversations and be sociable, I love meeting new people and creating new bonds.
