Bailey Richardson

I am a 3rd year student studying BA(Hons) Photography at Sheffield Hallam university. I have studied photography since the age of 15. Throughout this time, I have studied photography io have experimented in a lot of different areas. I would best class myself as a fashion photographer that shoots on location or in the studio to create vibrant fashion portraits. I would say that I am a creative person that isn’t afraid to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit to experiment and create new work and exciting work. I often like to experiment with the way that fashion can be represented through photography, for example, the inclusion of abstract poses. An important influencing factor behind my work is to encourage people to look beyond the garment that may be being sold, and more about the story behind the image; what is there to be learnt from the image you see before you. I have had experience with Adobe (photoshop/lightroom/InDesign), Pro Foto lighting systems both in and out of the studio. I have used various different full frame digital cameras and also both medium and large format cameras.
