Caitlyn De Kok

Hello, My name is Caitlyn de Kok and I currently go to South Essex College as a student studying Film and TV.I love watching films and seeing all the different shots and effects they use to make it different from one another. I like being creative with photography, cinematography and editing, I have adapted on that for years in different ways by making edits of shows and characters to making productions like music videos and short films in college.

I am very punctual in terms of getting on time or being a bit early to lessons or places that I need to be. This has helped me keep an organised schedule to keep me on track with my work. I am very creative in my editing and ideas for how I portray them, I have showed t his in my projects such as my music video, short film, tv show, and documentary. I have also made a podcast which helped me gain more communication skills as well as working on projects with other students, I have helped them with filming, editing and even acting. I am kind and respectful to everyone around  me and am always ready to help someone if they need it, I will also give advice to help with ideas or editing. However, I am more focused on the post production side in the industry as it is more creative for my mind and gives me more ideas and creativity. I also like photography as I have done a bit on that of nature for practice which I want to adapt more on in the future as I then moved on to cinematography and videography during my time in college.

Equipment I have used and got most comfortable with is the Sony A6600 camera and the Gimbal which has helped my production keep steady shots for my projects. However, as I am more into editing, I have experience with using a bit of Premiere Pro but then moved to DaVinci as it is easier to understand. I have also used a bit of After Effects.
