Interdisciplinary Artist.
Channels and Networks

Focusing on social and political themes, Daisy Dubus (b.2000) currently creates conceptual artwork. Their work directly responds to the surrounding environment and uses everyday experiences from the artist as a starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. With a conceptual approach, they try to increase the dynamic between audience and author by objectifying emotions and investigating the duality that develops through different interpretations.
Dubus has developed their creative endeavours by moving into sculptural photography and sculpture. This branched from the creation of conceptual documentary pieces, like the book they created '500 yards or less' which explored the relationship between homelessness and gentrification in sheffield.
