I'm seasoned a composer, songwriter, MD and rock artist, with three decades of experience crafting and performing music for theatre, film, bands and community organisations.
As a composer, songwriter, sound designer and MD, I've created and directed music for clients including Mikron, Leeds Conservatoire, 509Arts, Leeds Playhouse, Bradford University and Liberty Arts West Yorkshire.
For Wrongsemble I've written and recorded film scores, including Stargazer (2021), Aladdin and the Stolen Stories (2021), and HUMBUG (2020).
In the '90s, I founded the theatrical dandy-rock band Rent, and my career has taken me to iconic festivals like Reading and Leeds, and legendary venues like The Cavern Club. With my 2024 EP, 'Mid Vice Crises' and my new band The L☿rds Of MisRule, I'm entering a new era of dramatic, mythical glam-rock. My music spans classic rock, glam, Americana, southern gothic and draws heavily on the narrative and soundscaping techniques employed in my theatre and media roles.
