Dave Dransfield

Dave Dransfield (b.1965) is an English photographer living and working in the South Yorkshire area who specialises in documentary and portraiture-based photography. Dransfield likes to imagine that a photograph is like a puzzle; when the pieces come together, they produce something beautiful by utilising the subject’s natural ability.  

Dransfield enjoys developing a natural element within his images, highlighting his subject’s natural facial and bodily expressions. His past work includes “The Invisible Visible” a photographical representation of how retail workers felt they were invisible to the general public whilst the COVID-19 pandemic was in full flow.
