Ella Palmer

I'm a final year Photography student studying at Sheffield Hallam University where in which I have developed a specialism in fine art, graphical photography and commercial photography. I push the camera to its limits through exposures, macro and surface photographs. 

My personal practice stems from my love of colour and composition. I love key elements of focus whether that’s a portrait, landscape or surface photography. I am a confident photographer that delves into the realm of varying depths of field and sway towards the fine art side of photography. I have previously created tactile mixed media collages as well as innovative techniques for camera-less photography. I specialise in producing constructed and abstract images. Abstraction is often a key theme throughout my images because they push my creativity and development skills. This could be through composition or digital/physical manipulation.

My extensive knowledge of photography and the practice has developed over 5 years of studying. I am a hard working, creatively driven, enthusiast who doesn't hide behind her camera but puts herself into her images.
