Yorkshire Violinist

Emily, based in Huddersfield and trained at The University of Huddersfield and the Royal Northern College of Music, performs solo as 'Yorkshire Violinist' and collaborates with Symphonic Ibiza and the renowned 'Storm Electric Strings' as an electric violinist across the UK. Her work includes performances with the BBC alongside well-known personalities (including Sir Cliff Richard) during the 2022 Christmas season. Previously, Emily served as the Orchestral Leader of the Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra from 2013 to 2019 before venturing into various other projects. With close to 20 years of teaching experience in state and private schools, music services, and private lessons across northern England, Emily also manages her music teaching business. She nurtures aspiring musicians in violin, piano, and music theory. Emily is happily married to fellow musician Paul, and they have three children named Charlie, Sam, and Erin.
