Interior design influences spaces, the way people interact, and it also brings conversation between people and the space which I think is very powerful. I take inspiration from this and use these ideas in my work to create conversation in spaces.

I associate my practice with branding, retail design and spacial design as I think it's really interesting to see the difference and change that retail design has had in the past century and influences it has brought in changing the way retail design is now being used, for example with the use of technology it enhances the special interactions and creates a less stressed environment. I think my practice is definitely influenced by the social changes design has brought about. I think that design is effectively changing as technology is advancing and bringing a longer quality of life.

I see myself as a designer who is influenced by the past and the possibilities of the future as sustainability is becoming more of a serious debate in recent news. I apply the use of sustainability through circular economy and in conceptual thinking through the second life of an interior.

In the future I aim to continue my research and enhance my knowledge in design by exploring different ways of interaction, spacial design and interior design. How these things can change in the upcoming century though the use of circular economy and less harmful materials to the planet. I believe that interior design is much more than it’s definition but more so about the experiences, language and the conversation which is portrayed through the dynamic and engaging sequences of spaces.
