I am heavily inspired by the natural world - from the flora and fauna found across the planet to the intricate connections that are found throughout all life on earth. In my art, I aim to explore the innate intersections  between nature, animals, humanity, and emotion, creating work that harbours themes of empathy, love  and resilience.

I strongly believe that love itself is an act of resistance — to the never ending cycle of hate, hurt, violence and oppression that plagues our current society and by using my creative practice as a space where compassion , honesty , curiosity  and education coincide allows me to not only reflect on my own lived experiences but other humans and animals experiences as well. Because of this I often use my work as a tool for social awareness on how we interact with other humans, non-human life  and the environments around us.

Working with my hands is essential to my process. Im a multi-media artist and thrive when creating pieces that are layered, textured and tactile by combining different practices; mainly a large array of print-making and textile techniques. Each piece I create is a balancing act between structure and spontaneity, reality and imagination, individuality and community.

Ultimately, I aim to create art that sparks reflection and conversation with  a touch of whimsy and wonder — reminding us all that creativity and empathy can be utilised as powerful forces for change.
