A creative fashion designer with a good understanding of trends, techniques, hand and digital illustrations and CADs who aspire to continuously grow and further develop designing and technical skills within the industry. I have strong self-learning ability, motivated to do the job well, I love challenges and teamwork.

I am Harsimran Kaur, B.A (Hons) Fashion Design graduate 2020 from The Indian Institute of Art and Design, New Delhi. My career interest is in women’s wear design. Surroundings are a core element of my work which influences my process and ideas. I am a highly creative person with keen eyes for color and fabrics along with draping, hand drawing, garment construction, and fabric manipulation, software skills such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.

Final collection- Having a basic understanding of the human body is essential for fashion designers before communicating the ideas/concepts on the body as a 3-dimensional form. Seeing how the body works, how a movement happens, the structural understanding leads me to study the human body (human anatomy).

My inspiration came from the intricate and symbiotic relationship (holding and working together) the firmness of bones structure and flexibility of the muscle that overlapped and layered on each other to function as one which creates systematic chaos. The flexible movement happens with the contraction and expansion of muscle, which leads to stretch.
