Imogen Carter

Hi, I'm Imogen. I'm currently studying UAL Art and design Level 3, Year 2, and I hope to continue and study illustration at Falmouth university this September. I've created this account to share my artistic abilities, and showcase some of my favourite pieces I've created. I take most of my inspiration from nature, particularly botanicals and mushrooms. I love working with mixed media, as I feel it allows me to experiment lots of different materials, textures, and styles. I also love using watercolour, as I love the different effects you can achieve with this. I work in quite a range of styles, I'm quite interested in abstract art, especially using mixed media within this to create pieces with lots of detail, texture, and organic shapes. I'm also very interested in botanical illustration, and creating botanical sketchbook spreads. In the past, I've sold my work at craft fairs, a pop-up shop with college, and I'm currently in the process of setting up an Etsy shop.
