James Fleet

James Fleet is a digital photographer based in Sheffield, England. His work takes inspiration from fine art and technically precise, graphical photography. This produces ambiguous, abstract forms where the subject matter is unknown at a first glace. Each image is entirely unique and will most likely never be identically replicated. This leads to a variety of countless forms each with a different interpretation between viewers. Combining his artistic eye and control, James illuminates smoke using a flash unit and captures the abstract forms that it takes. James’ work can be described as surreal, since the images appear so disconnected from the physical world.
