Jared Turner

Hello there, 

I'm Jared Turner, i'm 21 and im a 3d artist from County Durham.

Through secondary school and sixth form, i always found the design subjects the most interesting. This lead me to get qualifications in engineering, graphic and product design. Then came along the University of Sunderland with its animation course, which ended up being the only place i applied for. It appealed to me because of the freedom it brought.

First year was spent during covid, honing traditional skills. Then came along second year which introduced me to 3d and software like Blender and Zbrush. This is where i felt i clicked, and have spent every moment since then trying to be the best at it as i can be. I am always trying to learn new techniques and technology and try to push myself because why should i bother creating work that i dont find interesting?

I have experience working in teams through univeristy modules but also through professional experience in the industry.
