Capturing the Unseen
Student
Channels and Networks

Since 2018 I have experimented with many different fields within photography and fine art, from portraiture to long exposure photography. Throughout lockdown in 2020/21 I started to specialise in astrophotography, taking advantage of the little light pollution I had in Cornwall. Starting with just my phone and a basic DLSR, I quickly progressed from taking basic long exposure shots of the milky way to taking planetary images with a large telescope. Following tutoring from a friend, I began to advance my processing and data capturing skills to produce high quality images of our outer solar system. This caught the eye of many notable figures on social media, such as Tim Peake and Chris Hadfield (NASA Astronauts).
After starting my studies at the University of Northampton, I begun to try different genres of photography, utilising the on-campus darkroom to shoot and process my own analogue film. I have also used the photography studios to experiment with analogue, portraiture and editorial imagery.
