Joss embeds his work in social documentary photography. With a curiosity around how communities interact, Joss sees photography as a window into people's lives that can reveal their reality to others. An early interest in architecture and man-made environments has proved useful in understanding the impact of the landscape on communities. He explores notions of home, identity and individuality. These themes have led joss to take a journalistic approach for a better understanding of the environment he’s in.
