Hi, I'm Jostein

A Drummer with a creative mind in many fields, with lots of knowledge and interests.

My journey actually started in our local brass band at Finnoy, Norway, playing cornet, before later being moved to baryton until I finally got to play drums with the Salvation Army where I got my first lessons and propper training within perc and drum kit.

My entire music venture, passion, and love for drums and music started when I was bearly able to walk. My biological dad listened to and watched concert DVDs and CDs and I would sneak close enough to listen. After watching a concert DVD from Motorhead playing "Ace of Spades" I knew after watching the drummer that I would become a drummer, and since then, I got a kids drum kit which I broke within a week, I played the pots and pans along with playing on everything I could find around the house. Later I grew up listening to music for 8 hours a day, stomping my feet under the school desk to the rhythm of the music, where later music became a joint passion along with content creation and video games (I used to play video games while listening to music, jamming along on my desk during downtime in the video game). Even today, I frequently play drums on the counter while cooking, or anywhere else when I do not have access to a drum kit.

Most of my musical career has been based on local volunteering, participating in parades playing snare, last-minute conducting, playing drums, and perc in middle school performances. Playing drum kit and percussion in Stavanger Salvation Army's Brass band, with trips to events, brass camps, and Sunday gigs during the service (Every other week/Month) along with other big holiday events. I would also jump in without notice, or rehearsal time to play with the youngest choir during these services. I also while playing Cornet and Baryton got sent to brass camps through various brass bands I was a member of.

Throughout my years specializing in Folk at Leeds Conservatoire, I have developed my own craft and artistry, I have learned more about myself, who I am, what I want to do within music, and life moving forwards. Meeting and working with great musicians.

The past year has been huge with many ups and downs, developing a plan of action for the year to come.

My goal is to Inspire, Educate & Entertain the way I was inspired.

With that in mind My two current focus points will be:

Jostein Music & Willie WallBang Collected under Jostein Productions, with various music and entertainment ventures within; Video games, Music, and TV-Like entertainment (Providing what I wish existed when I was young). As this venture expands and develops into the launch and release It will be more details on its respective website with a more in-depth description of each respective project and resumes with past experience, achievements, and knowledge.

Jostein Productions will be the umbrella brand holding them all together. Jostein Productions will also produce more TV-Like productions.

Jostein Music will contain everything music related

       * Drum "studio", Performances, Newsletters, Session Work, Tours, and gigs with other musical side projects.

Willie WallBang will contain everything video game-related

As I am revamping ALL my socials into more of an organized place for business and professional work, all content, brands, accounts, and their content will disappear, some reposted, and focus on making a client-based pleasing structured way to access each respective part without everything being mixed and blended into each other.
