History lets us understand the facts of the past correctly and promise our growth for the future. I'm usually very interested in history, and I believe that the history and cultural elements of a country become backbone that creates new values in the field of creation and design. I have been constantly studying ways to incorporate cultural heritages and tradition into modern design. In particular, the imperialist era was turbulent times, and I am very interested in the exotic artifacts and architecture what orientalists combined with Eastern and Western cultures at that time. The Royal Pavilion is a representative building symbolizing British Orientalism and Imperialism, and has excellent historical and artistic value. How can design be used to merge the history of the imperialism of the Royal Pavilion with its role as a tourist attraction?
