KATHERINE RICHARDSON

My name is Katie Richardson and I am a recent graduate from Kingston School of Art BA Hon Graphic Design course. As a designer I believe my practice does not just follow one design discipline; I enjoy exploring different and new forms of communication that tap into an ever-evolving society with increasingly shifting trends. The common thread within my work is where my ideas often arise through observation of human nature, communicated through fun and light-hearted means. To me, this childlike design appeals most, as the child’s imagination that we tend to lose as we mature, is what gives us the aptitude to come up with innovative solutions to everyday problems.
