I am an Illustration student, who is interested in painting, drawing, sculpting and print making. I have learnt and developed a range of artistic skills such as an understanding of composition, color, proportion, contrast, perspective and mixed media. I am due to start studying fine art at university. I have participated in a range of workshops/exhibitions such as The British Art Show 9, The 21Pirates yearly exhibition and the Kissing It Better charity project. Working in the British Art show 9 gave me the opportunity to work with the artist, Sophie Huckfield on a project that addressed the impacts of climate change. For the 21Pirates exhibition, I had to create crossover art from the themes of film, video games and comics. For the Kissing It Better project, I created an activity pack for the care home residents which consisted of step-by-step tutorials, teaching how to draw flowers in different styles.
