LAURE BURLE

After an education at Lycée Immaculée Conception in Carpentras, France I decided to apply to Ecole de Condé Lyon to enter their BA Fashion Design. During this BA I had the chance to do two internships in London, the first one with Wan Hung and second one with Xu Zhi. After my BA I started an MA in Fashion Design Womenswear at Kingston University which gave me the opportunity to do a placement year. I spent my placement year in the Garella Group situated in the south of France where I first was a Studio / Design Intern. After a couple of month in this position they asked me to become the Stylist Assistant for one of their brand Bleu Blanc Rouge. During 10 months I worked alone as a stylist assistant, studio coordinator. 

In September I'll be lucky to join Malhia Kent's studio in Paris to do an internship as a stylist assistant. 

My main focus as a designer is textile and especially a traditional quilt from the south of France called Boutis, I have been designing garments with this technique for the past couple of years.
